words for thought or words without thought?

I readily don’t tolerate people treating each other like bull shit because I personally do not agree with it. Yes there have been numerous occasions where I have made the poor choice or mistake of choosing certain actions to handle a situation wherein said actions fall into this category of bull shit. Today I was told by someone whom I actually disliked before this incident that a creation of mine was “bad” as in ugly. I take so much pride in my work that you insult my work you insult me. Now, what his person offered was NOT constructive criticism, and if it was, they need to better learn how to give criticism, because it was more like offencisim. I admit that they didn’t necessarily have a point but their words got me to re-examine the work with a more critical eye and I realize I’d like to do better in some areas, but overall I still think it was a respectable piece of work. Especially compared to what they were in charge of, mine is a lot exciting and engaging. I could fall asleep looking at theirs, easily, and I know it would be hard to disagree with me on that if you actually seen what I am talking about. So let me just end this note saying that yes I appreciate the “Wake up call” but how it was communicated was way off, even if they person did say it was not their intent to offend me.

Honestly, I never take the stance that I am always right, but I know that I give all the decisions I make relatively through consideration and thought (give or take where applicable), so I don’t come out the randomly or without respectable reason, in that sense, that is just the engineer in me.
